Another gem Julie. As you write clearly about all of our souls of worry, anxiety, despair, hope, joy, possibilities. It's all there. And a lovely reminder that we can start the day with the joy of the day and the opportunity and curiosity it presents.
Thank you truly for sharing your heartbreaking and intimate memories. I resonate with your journey filled with caution AND hope AND disappointment AND wonder and an everwillingness to explore and evolve. As a new grandmother I take great comfort and joy in witnessing how simply wonderful life is with a bottle of milk, a warm lap, a stuffy toy, and a nap! The freedom to feel connected and safe and happy is so fundamental, everything else is sort of icing on the messy cake.
“Must it all be
either less or more,
Either plain or grand?
Is it always "or"?
Is it never "and"?”
—Moments in the Woods (Into the Woods)

Thank you Betsy, for your interest, and kind words.
Enjoy!
Dear Julie, I feel touched and inspired through hearing more of your story. Love you bunches! <3

Thank you for being here Rona! And yes, I too am reminded of the importance of the simple pleasures and safety we can provide as grandmothers. ❤️
